From the outset, Sybelle’s vision was to complement the home’s architectural integrity while introducing warmth, sophistication and effortless luxury. Drawing inspiration from modern French interiors, she curated a contemporary aesthetic that balances elegant forms, tactile materials and inviting tones, creating spaces that feel refined yet wonderfully liveable.

Across the approximately 350-square-metre residence, each room was thoughtfully considered, with individual spaces developing their own character while contributing to a cohesive design story. The result celebrates the home’s striking architectural features while introducing layers of texture, colour and personality.

For Sybelle, exceptional styling extends far beyond the placement of furniture and accessories. It begins with understanding a home’s proportions, recognising its defining features and creating a natural sense of flow from one space to the next. Every detail—from the selection of furniture and lighting to the placement of artwork and decorative objects—is considered to enhance the experience of the home.

Bespoke furnishings, considered finishes and carefully curated pieces work together to highlight architectural elements such as the staircases, flooring, wall panelling and fireplaces. Thoughtfully styled entryways and transitional spaces create continuity throughout the residence, bringing balance and intention to the finished interior.

Art, Colour and Individuality

Art plays an integral role in Sybelle’s design philosophy, bringing depth, emotion and individuality to an interior. For this project, she collaborated with contemporary artist Anita Madhav, whose expressive style and confident use of colour introduce a captivating artistic dimension to the home.

Selected works from Anita’s collection, featuring vibrant floral compositions and rich fuchsia and violet hues, were carefully incorporated throughout the interiors. These striking pieces provide moments of contrast and visual interest, complementing the home’s understated elegance while adding warmth, personality and a distinctive creative edge.
