A timeless traditional. The Farmhouse Bench elicits the look of cottages built in the early 1900's, situated across the vast prairies of North America. Rustically refined these benches complement our Farmhouse Dining Table perfectly, and also work well along a wall for extra seating or as a place to display elaborate books. Crafted from original old recycled elm timber obtained from old cottage doors, these benches are strong and sure to stand up. As it settles into its new home it is expected that some movement and seperation of the timber may occur creating naturally occurring cracks in the table top. This is especially apparent in dry or well heated conditions, however these can be filled using a timber repair kit which we have available. Crafted from reclaimed Elm, and designed to sit under the 240cm Farmhouse Table. Knots, slight cracking, blemishes, small dents and minor colour variations are inherent characteristics of wood products. These irregularities do not impact the structural integrity of our products, and are not considered defects. Minor variations should be expected, and are part of the natural character and allure of wood products.
